A Word from Colin, Julia, and Trinity

Julia: Hi everybody! It's me, Julia and I'm going to tell you about the pacer test we did in P.E. yesterday. One day, on a Thursday, we did the pacer test. The pacer test is where you get a partner and a score sheet. And then you take turns to run with the other people. My partner went first. So you run from one side to the other in the gym (when you hear a beep!) My partner got 13 laps and I got 14. Then we got water. The highest scores were: 1st Round was Austin and he got 53! 2nd Round was Oliver and he got 43! Well, that's all folks! Goodbye now!

Trinity: Hi everybody! This whole week was amazing. I am the gymnastics teacher during recess. I am teaching Tuesday through Friday. I am going to have so much fun!

Colin: Hi guys, I'm making a story but its not very good and it got my friends kicked off the slide. I didn't because I didn't do anything but my friend made up a game on the slide. Also, it would be easy to blame me because I'm their friend and I was also on the slide. So one of my friends pushed my other friend down the slide and my third friend grabs one of their feet. It was actually weird. Again, I didn't do it, all I did was watch them and climbed up the ladder to go down. I did not like what my friends were doing, in a way, but I've seen worse.

A Word from Matejo, Betsy, Elise and Evelin!

Matejo: The Haunted iPads

On Monday, October 7, 2019, everybody was writing when suddenly...Ring! Ring!

"Turn off that timer, " Ms. Golemes said.

Tuesday, everybody was doing math and...Ring! Ring! It was so loud! It must be at my table.

It ended up being Elise's iPad!

Betsy: So, this week has been a little odd. Timers on kids' iPads have been going off but kids haven't been setting the timers! I think it it because of Luna. Luna is a ghost that haunted Ms. Golemes' old classroom. Now, let me tell you the story of Luna. One day, Ms. Golemes walked in but the lights did not turn on. Ms Golemes walked in the classroom and her clock fell on the ground. Then, two books fell off the shelf! The End.

Elise: It was the morning. It was time to go to school then I changed into my clothes. Then, I ate my breakfast. Next, I went to school and I found out that today was the Fun Run! So I will have fun!

Evelin: This week, my iPad set an alarm somehow. It went off during reading and it was super weird. We are about to do the Fun Run. I love when you get popsicles at the end and bracelets. This year, we got squishies!

A Word from Lemonheads, Austin, Evianna, Ollie and Oliver

This weeks bloggers from the Indigo table!
Austin:

On Friday, we played Kahoot! It was really fun, I put in a nickname. My nickname was my name in all caps with two flying money emojis. When we started the game, it was only 5 seconds per question! So, we had to change it to a different game. This time my name was in all caps and a begging emoji with an Earth emoji. I got 4th place!

Evianna:

Did you hear about Ms. Jefferson's small moment? Well first it started out when Ms. Jefferson was in her office. She heard a squeaking noise. She just ignored it. It happened again. She looked around her office. She found a MOUSE! She jumped over her desk and ran to Ms. Kaye. Ms. Kaye told the custodian and Ms. Jefferson was okay.

Ollie:

So, when I came to school, I already knew we were changing seats. Then I got in the class, did all the stuff, and Ms. Golemes shouted, "Hey! We're changing seats today!!!" So I was writing for like 30 minutes and then we changed seats. It was crazy, everyone was running around the classroom. Then, I found out I would be in the same seat but it's okay. But that was the other day. So today we did a Kahoot and I got 6th place!

Oliver:

This week, we started writing our small moments that we will end up publishing. Mine was about FIFA/soccer, Ollie's was about going to Michigan, Evi's was about a trip to Blue Harbor, and Austin's was about a Halloween decoration that was teleporting!
We played Kahoot and if you don't know what it is, it's like timed math. I got 1ST PLACE! It was very fun! I got first place because I was practicing my multiplication.
Lastly, I finished my book today. If you like funny books, check out my review on our class book recommendations Padlet. Click here to access our Padlet.

Oliver and his 1st place win on Kahoot.
